28 September 2010, London

In the digital gold rush significant players – governments as well as companies – are aggressively colonising the new terrain. A bite-sized, one-day conference presents the major players.

Jeff Bewkes, Chair and Chief Executive of Time Warner, delivers a keynote covering his group’s innovative revenue strategies for video and print.

The UK broadcasting minister, the Rt Hon Jeremy Hunt MP, Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport, will discuss policy developments as the new Government approaches its sixth month in office.

As Britain’s new Government prioritises high-speed broadband, Dr Suk-Ho Bang, the influential President of KISDI, South Korea’s top broadcasting and telecommunication think tank, reveals how this brave new world really works.

And with Canvas and Google TV imminent, the new VoD market will be laid out by an independent producer (Elisabeth Murdoch, Shine), a broadcaster (David Abraham, Channel 4) and a game changer (Matt Brittin, Google).

Included in a day of invaluable insights will be NBC Universal International and Disney experts on international markets (Peter Smith and Giorgio Stock) and more of Europe’s leading broadcasters:

Adam Crozier (ITV), Mike Darcey (BSkyB), Mark Thompson (BBC) and Gerhard Zeiler (RTL).

The conference will also examine the UK Government’s digital policies in depth.
