Invitation / Gwahoddiad

Did you know that the Rolling Stones' debut was on independent television in Wales in 1958?  Or that 'Dewch i Mewn', the first-ever programme in the Welsh language on independent television, was actually broadcast ... from Manchester?  These and other fascinating facts were among many discovered by the media historian Jamie Medhurst while researching his new book A History of Independent Television in Wales.  Jamie claims that far too much attention has been paid to the BBC in telling the story of Welsh broadcasting.  Join us to hear what Jamie has to say (in Welsh) about the development of independent television in Wales from the very earliest days of TWW, WWN and HTV, right through to today's ITV Cymru/Wales.
