About

The RTS Television Journalism Awards were founded in 1978 and seek to recognise creative and excellent journalism by organisations whose broadcasts are received in the UK and by the agencies which supply UK news broadcasters. The Awards ceremony is held each February in central London. The Society's News and Current Affairs Committee is chaired by Nick Pollard.

The RTS Television Journalism Awards for 2008/2009 were presented at an Awards Dinner on Wednesday 24 February 2010 at 7.00pm for 7.30pm, at the London Hilton, Park Lane, London W1K 1BE. Presentation hosted by Sophie Raworth.
