Terry was until  recently the Director of WISE, the campaign to encourage more girls into engineering and science-based professions. She was formerly European Programming Vice President of the Sci Fi Channel, and Head of School Programmes at the BBC.She specialises in change management and digital technologies and is a Fellow of the RTS.
Terry has been Chair and Vice Chair of RTS London and represents the RTS on IBC Board

 
Thomas Dillon Thomas Dillon
Thomas is a lawyer and public policy consultant. He practised at the Bar for 15 years. Following an internship in Los Angeles, he spent 8 years in Brussels working on content protection issues for the Motion Picture Association. In 2009 he returned to London and set up his own advisory practice for the creative industries. He is executive chairman of the Creative Advantage Fund, a venture capital fund for the creative industries. Thomas has an MBA (Film Business) from Cass Business School.
 
 
Carol Owens (metadata)Carol Owens
Carol currently works for Deluxe (formerly Ascent) as Director of Strategic Engagements.
She started her career as a BBC documentary Film Editor and ended her time at the Corporation as head of the metadata architecture consulting team, for which contribution she was made a Fellow of the RTS. She worked in consulting and strategy for Siemens then Serco before joining Ascent. Carol is also Visiting Professor of Media Strategy at the University of Lincoln .

Daniel Cherowbrier
Daniel is DTT Baseband Operations Manager at Arqiva responsible for the  team managing the coding and mux of three commercial multiplexes on DTT. Being one of the younger members of the committee Daniel is working to widen the range of events the RTS offers and increase the younger audience. Alongside his involvement in the RTS Daniel is an incorporated engineer with the IET.

 

 Robert Handscomb
Robert joined the BBC in 1978 as a project manager he worked on design and installation for communication centres, dubbing theatres and video edit suites.  Later work included evaluation, developing and pushing the boundaries of broadcasting technology and establishment of an operation "DV Shop" to adapt and supply consumer camcorder equipment to programme makers. Robert was responsible for the technical features of  BBC Resources/ Technology & Siemens stands at IBC and NAB - winning IBC "Stand of the Show" award.
