If you were hoping to go to IBC this year and didn't make it, this is your chance to find out what you missed! A distinguished panel give their take on what was new at IBC, and what trends were evident. You will need to register in advance for security reasons. Registration is free, click the tab above.

The panel are:

 Peter Owen (Chairman of the IBC Council)

Peter OwenComing from the supplier side of the industry, Peter Owen now chairs the IBC Council. Following early career positions at EMI and the IBA (Independent Broadcasting Authority), and a founder member of Quantel, Peter's duties grew from Head of Broadcast to Engineering Director.

Being familiar with the international marketplace and a broad range of technologies, Peter now bridges Council opinions with IBC strategies and the needs of the IBC Conference.
 

MC Patel

MC is well known in the broadcast industry as a technologist and entrepreneur. He was a founder of Abekas Video Systems, and has had directorial positions with Discreet Logic and Digital Vision.

He is currently CEO of Innomedia Systems, and founder and CEO of eMotion engines Ltd., co-owner of Alpha Image, and is also owner at MC & P Consultants.

 Peter Weitzel

Peter had a long career with the BBC, where he was Senior Technology Manager. He then moved on to become Principal Technology Manager Media Systems at Siemens.

He is currently Managing Consultant at Weitzel.tv where he specialises in helping clients with the impact of new technology on broadcasting and the evolving changes in broadcast infrastructure.
