Within our territory there are 24 Universities offering course in the television aspects of Media – and thus there are keen groups of students all trying to make sense of the world of television and the media in which many of us have grown up – RTS London awards their creativity though Student Awards - but as our territory covers Luton in the North to Kingston in the South, with Westminster and Ravensbourne on a NW-SE axis and many more.
We in RTS London find the interaction between the young and older members of the world of television very important -we can all learn from each other at the informal gatherings before and after events.
London has a large number of facilities houses – and of course the technological excellence of BBC R&D and the technical teams of ATOS, Red Bee, Arqiva NDS, Technicolor, DTG and BT.
These are the people who are ensuring that creativity can hit the screen reliably now and in the future.
