Winners announced for the RTS Programme Awards 2024

The illustrious awards ceremony took place this evening at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel in London, hosted by comedian Tom Allen.

The awards showcased the extraordinary talent evident across all genres in British television with attendees this evening including Hannah Waddingham, Bella Ramsey, Jodie Whittaker, Gabby Roslin, Noel Fielding, Chris Packham, Stacey Solomon, Joe Swash, Mark Gatiss, Susanna Reid, Romesh Ranganathan, Kane Robinson and Siobhán McSweeney.

Gwobrwyon RTS Cymru Wales Awards 2024

We are delighted to announce the full list of nominations for the RTS Cymru Wales Awards 2024 in partnership with HP with Intel.

Combining awards for Undergraduate and Postgraduate students in Wales, alongside programmes and programme makers in the industry, the event will be held at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama on the evening of Friday 12 April, arrival from 6:15pm.

It doesn’t take Laura Kuenssberg long to find the words – or rather, word – to describe how the news has changed.

She’s been around to observe first-hand the shifting sands for over two decades. After cutting her teeth at Edinburgh University’s student radio, Kuenssberg was named Most Promising Newcomer by the RTS in the North East and the Borders in 2001. Since then, she’s worked as the BBC’s chief political correspondent and political editor, as well as a spell at ITV as business editor.

Ricky Sue and a Trip or Two

The legends that are Ricky and Sue are joining RTS Midlands for a very special event where they will share stories about their new series, Ricky, Sue and a Trip or Two. The duo will be taking three road trips, to show each other some of the places that shaped their lives. And, like any good road trip, there’ll be some diversions along the way, as they explore new places, try new things and meet some famous friends.

The event will take place at Midlands Art Centre on Wednesday 20th March at 7pm for a special screening of the Midlands episode of the series.
