THE RTS SOUTHERN CENTRE AWARDS 2010/2011
The Southern Centre RTS Awards will take place on Friday 18th February 2011 at Winchester Guildhall, hosted by the BBC’s Sally Taylor and ITV’s Fred Dinenage.
There have been an excellent number of entries this year and the awards ceremony is set to be a fantastic evening. The shortlist will be announced in early February 2011.
After a drinks reception the award ceremony takes place during a cabaret style buffet followed by dancing until the early hours. It is an opportunity to pay tribute to the brilliantly diverse nature of talent along the South Coast.
The awards are split into two sections: the professional and the student categories. The professional awards range from Best Regional TV Personality of the Year to Best Single Documentary to Best Online Entry. The student awards aim to encourage and nurture the next generation of the media industry. Winners in the four categories... entertainment, factual, animation and drama, all go on to compete at national levels.
There are a limited number of tickets for the event and will be on a strictly first-come-first served basis. This year the price of tickets will be £54 (including VAT). Doors will open at 7pm for the welcome drinks reception with all guests seated at 8pm for the Awards Ceremony.
Dress code is black tie or dark lounge suit and carriages leave just after 1.30am.
