The Royal Television Society Southern Centre will be staging its annual awards on Thursday 16th February 2012 at Winchester Guildhall.
It is a very popular and prestigious evening, which offers encouragement to the region's creative talent and highlights the quality of programming and new media content produced in Southern England.
Following the fantastic success of the 2010 awards evening, we will be holding an awards party followed by the awards presentation. Last year's awards attracted a large field of high-calibre/guest judges entries and recognised some excellent programmes and production talent. Please encourage your colleagues to enter this year's awards.
You will see from the list of categories that the 17 awards recognise excellence in production, craft, presentation, reporting, technical skills and cover a wide range of programme genres which this year also includes online content. We have tried very hard to create categories, which are inclusive enough to allow as many people as possible to highlight the quality of their work. These categories reflect the diverse and ever-changing nature of our industry.
If you or your colleagues would like to enter for any of the awards, please send a completed application form and DVD’s to the address on the entry form, enclosing the appropriate application fee for each entry.
