Venues
Depending on the event there are several venues available thanks to the kind support of the institutions concerned. For committee meetings Southampton Solent University is used. The SSU is also the primary location for programming and production orientated events. Technical events are likely to be of interest to Thames Valley Centre and so will primarily be held at Arqiva,Crawley Court, which is better placed for access to both regions. The Regional Awards are held annually, usually in February, at a prestigious venue in Southampton. Watch our events pages for more information.

Directions to Southampton Solent University
Please note that some events at Solent University will be held in the Conference Centre on Above Bar. Others will be held in one of the several Main Buildings in East Park Terrace [see campus map via link]. Email notices for each event and the event table [see page Events Programme 2005/6 to the left] will identify the location.
The maps show nearby public parking which is free after 17.30. Parking is also available at the Institute behind the main buildings on East Park Terrace.

All Centres take advantage of the web site to provide a better service to members. It will be our main channel of communication supported by emails providing reminders.
Email:
Email would be the preferred method of communication but we are aware that some members do not have access to a PC and/or the internet and so will continue to post some details by paper mail.

Registering For Events:
Our venues frequently require pre-notification of attendees and numbers for security purposes. For this reason, free pre-registration is usually required. You can register by clicking a button on the appropriate event information page on the web site, or by contacting us by letter or telephone if Internet access is not available.
