Shipwrecked is returning after seven years… and you could be part of it.

Filming this summer, the reality series needs a new generation of islanders to go head to head in paradise. The contestants will be divided up into two rival camps on Tiger Island and Shark Island, and will battle it out to win over new arrivals.

The largest tribe at the end of the competition will win a prize more glittering than the tropical oceans the contestants live beside.

The 15-part series promises “hedonism, heroism, heart and hilarity”, according to executive producer Neale Simpson, as the castaways compete to use their creativity and skill to make their camp the biggest and the best – finding hidden treasures and avoiding the tempting traps of their tropical prison.

Shipwrecked last hit our screens in 2011, dumping 12 contestants, including reality personality Stephen Bear and Jeff Brazier, on the Cook Islands, and observing how they get on.
