The panel will examine one of the central questions faced by our organisations over the next 10 years: how do we continue to serve loyal linear broadcast audiences while at the same time innovating for younger audiences, moving towards IP, mobile and on-demand, and maintaining impact? The panel will discuss the sustainability of the current model, consider how the funding mix for PSBs and the whole TV industry is changing over time, and will debate why PSBs should continue to receive prominence in an on demand world.

Chair

Patrick Younge, Co-founder/Managing Director, Sugar Films

Speakers

Jay Hunt, Chief Creative Officer, Channel 4

Monica Maggioni, President, RAI

James Purnell, Director, Strategy and Education, BBC

Peter Rosberg, Head of Planning & Scheduling, DR
