It's the grand finale tonight as Cersei heads for conflict against the High Sparrow. Taking a departure from George R. R. Martin's original books, the show's creators have plenty of surprises in store, predicated by the resurrection of Jon Snow at the start of season 6. Tonight's final episode includes the toppling of a leader, a memorable death, and some crucial clues as to the parentage of Jon Snow.

Picking up his Royal Television Society Award for best presenter whilst on set, Reggie Yates' two-part documentary series The Insider will debut tomorrow online on BBC3. In this week's episode, Reggie goes undercover in one of Texas' most brutal institutions.

For one week, Yates is locked up with inmates at Bexar County Jail, working, sleeping, and eating alongside the US's toughest convicts. The DJ and TV presenter finds out first-hand what life is like behind bars and the impact of America's justice system.

Almost a quarter of households in the UK share their home with a pet pooch, but which breed is top dog? This one-off special looks at the nation's favourite dog breeds in order to understand what we look for when choosing our canine companions.

The competition begins as outstanding individuals from all over the country showcase their talents and the winner of Britain's favourite breed of dog is named.

A new series of the paranormal programme begins this week, with the first episode taking us to Crewe's Lyceum Theatre. Yvette Fielding and co. investigate the old playhouse, which was actually built on a former graveyard, and the mystery behind the fire of 1910 which destroyed the entire inside of the building. Legend has it that the spirit of a ballerina - named the Woman in White - still lingers in the old opera house.

The film follows the lives of five men from the Sheffield City battalion, a unique volunteer army based on the Western Front, as they leave home and take their lives in their hands in one of the bloodiest battles in human history. Reconstructed from the diary of Private Frank Meakin, the accounts reveal intimate details about life on the frontline.
