This exciting panel and Q&A session gives you the golden opportunity to identify the essential tools and skills to be an ace researcher. Our panel of experienced TV researchers and bosses from different genres will share the secrets of how to master the skills of great research that underpins all media content and will help you to get ahead in your career.

The event will be hosted by Rick Edwards presenter of Tool AcademyFreshly SqueezedE4 Music, and That Paralympic Show. Rick has had a taste of working in production himself as a graduate of the prestigious Princess Productions Trainee Researcher scheme. With the panel's help he'll look at the different areas of research from casting, factual, archive, specialist and development. They'll discuss how to research topics for discussion on air, source contributors , use original sources and work in teams generating and developing new programme formats.

This is a practical session with a real opportunity ask questions on how to improve your skills and benefit from invaluable insights and advice.
