First look images released for ITV drama Trigger Point

The six-part thriller sees Vicky McClure and Adrian Lester play bomb disposal operatives known as Expos, who put their lives on the line every day. 

Vicky McClure plays frontline officer Lana Washington and Adrian Lester plays her colleague Joel Nutkins. 

Washington and Nutkins are ex-military and close friends after both serving time together in Afghanistan. 

Opportunities for new writers on second series of ITV’s Sorry, I Didn’t Know

The only comedy panel show that celebrated Black history, Sorry, I Didn’t Know will return in October with Chizzy Akudolu and Judi Love once again captaining the teams.

This year, ITV and TriForce Productions have launched a new competition to find two new writers for the show, who will join showrunner Fraser Ayres in the series writing room.

With the aim of finding the next wave of comedy writers and giving them their first broadcast credit, the opportunity will be open to everyone to apply.

TV Picks: Euro 2020 Group Stages

24 teams will compete across six groups for the top two places to qualify for the knock-outs.

Between the fierce rivalries, revenge-seekers and a hair-raising group of death, there are plenty of tasty ties to sink your teeth into.

Korea’s technicolour dream shows

Crazy and cool with a K” is a good moniker for the jaw-dropping South Korean entertainment formats delivering jaw-dropping audience figures around the world. In the UK, The Masked Singer, I Can See Your Voice and, most recently, The Masked Dancer have featured celebrities disguised as everything from a bee and an octopus to a sausage, good and bad singers from the great British public hiding in plain sight and dance routines from a llama, chicken and knickerbocker glory.

Alex Scott to present Soccer Aid 2021

Scott will co-present alongside Dermot O’Leary as the touchline correspondent for the live charity event.

"Soccer Aid 2021 for UNICEF is going to be just brilliant," said Scott. "It's great to be involved again, and of course co-presenting alongside Dermot is really exciting.

"It'll be so special to be back in a stadium with fans again, and all for a great cause. Tickets are on sale now – see you in September!"

ITV announces adaptation of Graham Norton’s bestselling novel Holding

The series will be adapted by writers Dominic Treadwell-Collins and Karen Cogan and directed by Kathy Burke.

Conleth Hill (Game of Thrones) will lead as local police officer, Sergeant PJ Collins, of the remote Irish village of Duneen, West Cork.

A big friendly giant of a man, Sergeant Collins spends his days hiding, eating comfort food and avoiding real police work. But the discovery of local legend Tommy Burke’s body thrusts him into the limelight as he is tasked with solving a genuine case for the first time in his career.

The Masked Dancer heads to ITV this May

A spin-off from the RTS-Award winning series The Masked Singer, the new series will see celebrities perform unique dances while dressed in extravagant costumes with gigantic, colourful face masks.

The show’s celebrity panel will then need to work out who is behind the mask, helped along by some cryptic clues.

Strictly star Oti Mabuse will be bringing her dance expertise to the panel, joining Jonathan Ross, Mo Gilligan and Davina McCall as they guess who is busting the moves beneath the giant suits.

ITV commissions Gino and Family’s Italian adventure

Chef Gino D’Acampo will be taking his family on a tour of his favourite spots in Southern Italy, rediscovering the places, people and flavours that inspired him on his journey to becoming a chef. 

The seven-part series will see Gino joined by his wife, their children and his in-laws as they discover authentic Italian cuisine and experience the breathtaking Italian scenery. 

Each episode will push the D'Acampos outside their comfort zone and will allow Gino to share his love and passion for Italian culture and the finest local delicacies with his family. 

Katherine Ryan set to host new dating show Ready to Mingle

The dating show will see a single woman look for her perfect partner out of 12 suitors, who will be competing for her affection and the opportunity to win a big cash prize. 

However, not everything is as it seems, as some of the boys are not actually single and are being helped by their partners in order to win the cash prize.
