Award-winning animation studio Brown Bag Films will produce a second series of Disney Junior's global hit, Vampirina.
Vampirina follows the Hauntley family, friendly vampires who have recently relocated from Transylvania to Pennsylvania.
The show focuses on lead character Vampirina (AKA Vee), as she adapts to a new school in the human world and it features a mixture of heartfelt storytelling, spooky fun and Broadway-calibre music.
“Her own uniqueness has resonated with our audience of young kids and families. We look forward to sharing more stories about the loveable young Vee, her new friends and her fantastical world of dancing gargoyles, playful ghosts and cuddly werewolves,” said Joe D'Ambrosia, Senior Vice President, Original Programming, Disney Junior.
Inspired by Disney Publishing's popular children's book series Vampirina Ballerina, the series includes leaders from the creative team on Disney Junior's Peabody Award-winning animated series, Doc McStuffins.
Following Vampirina's UK premiere last October, the show had 1.6 million views in six weeks alone and the first series boasts over 49 million viewers worldwide.
