The Royal Television Society North West Centre runs its own programme of lectures, workshops, masterclasses, awards and social events through the year.

This year we have seen a wide range of events including our annual Student Networking Day, hosted at Dock10, followed by our annual Student Awards, which is open to entries to any student studying or living here in the North West.

Each year we’re proud to host the annual Anthony. H Wilson Memorial Lecture, which this year was delivered by David Liddiment, followed by a Q&A session, led by Nicola Shindler, from Quay Street Productions. Our annual Programme Awards for RTS NW are held each November, with this years being held on Friday 24th November 2023 at Kimpton Clocktower, Manchester.

Recent Exclusive Screenings include; Inside No.9 with a post screening conversation with Recce Shearsmith, Steve Pemberton and Ian Bevitt; Monster Films and CBS also hosted a screening and panel discussion of their compelling series Wrongly Accused, at the Everyman Cinema in May.

Throughout the year we are keen to host a wide ranging programme, to ensure we continue to nurture and build the dynamic and flourishing production community across the North West, and promote an open and collegiate environment that prompts discussion and innovation in our sector.
