Left Bank Leeds is a progressive space for creativity, culture and community, set inside a beautiful Grade II* listed former church building and runs regular doc club events. This month Anna Hall, Creative Director at Candour Productions and RTS Yorkshire committee member, will be hosting a screening of 'My Name is Happy'.
The film tells the inspirational story of Kurdish teenager, Mutlu Kaya who was shot after reaching the final of Turkey’s Got Talent. This moving documentary will be followed by a Q&A with Nick Read, the films Producer and co-Director.
This event is FREE with an option to PAYF to support Mutlu’s activism.
