Rob Brydon and Steve Coogan are back together again in the fourth instalment of the comedy series The Trip.

The new six-part series follows Brydon and Coogan as their fictionalised characters road trip around Greece on the hunt for more foodie adventures.

The pair debate about tragedy, comedy, myth and history, as they sample traditional Greek cuisine while travelling from one beautiful spot to another, which includes Hydra, Athens, Assos and Plyos.

Directed by Michael Winterbottom and produced by Revolution Films, the new series follows on from The Trip to Spain, which saw Brydon and Coogan travel from Getaria to Malaga.

Director of Comedy at Sky Studios, Jon Mountague, commented: “What a joy to go island hopping with the incomparable Steve and Rob.

“Greece is the birthplace of democracy but more importantly the birthplace of Michael Winterbottom’s latest vision, which we can’t wait to share with our customers. Yamas!”

Further upcoming Sky original comedies include Breeders with Martin Freeman, Code 404 starring Stephen Graham and Daniel Mays and Intelligence featuring David Schwimmer and Nick Mohammed.

The Trip to Greece will air on Sky One on the 3rd March at 10pm.
