Sky has announced the release date of its new original series Brave New World.

Based on Aldous Huxley’s dystopian novel of the same name, Brave New World is set in a peaceful and stable utopian New London where monogamy, privacy, money, family and history are all prohibited.

Bernard Marx (Harry Lloyd) and Lenina Crowne (Jessica Brown Findlay) are desperate to explore life beyond the confines of the rigid social order.

Leaving behind the culture of impulsive pleasure through bliss-inducing pharmaceuticals and ubiquitous sex, they journey to the Savage Lands on vacation.

There they become mired in a violent rebellion, until John the Savage (Alden Ehrenreich) rescues them from the turmoil and they return to New London.

However, John’s arrival in the New World threatens to disrupt its utopian harmony and leaves Bernard and Lenina struggling to cope with the repercussions.

The three become enmeshed in a fraught relationship and are awakened to the dangers of their social conditioning.

All episodes of Brave New World will be made available on Sky One and NOW TV on 2 October 2020.
