Students from Teesside University, who'd already had success at our regional awards in February, went on to gain first prize trophies at the national RTS Student Awards held in London on June 3rd.

Dresslocked, produced by Domareen Fox, won the Undergraduate Animation category, while Eat, then Wait for the Night, produced by Jing Zhao, took the Undergraduate Factual prize.  Jing Zhao (known as 'Coco') was also nominated in the Undergraduate Craft Skills: Editing and Sound categories.

Although Coco had been able to return from China to receive her North East & The Border award at the Newcastle Gateshead Hilton, she wasn't able to attend the national awards.  The trophy was accepted on her behalf by Matt Dennis.
