Aldi’s Next Big Thing

Six food and drink suppliers are given the opportunity to vie for a contract with one of Britain’s biggest supermarket chains. Two are permitted to develop their proposed products, from which one is chosen for the business deal of a lifetime. The other five go home and are left like the rest of us: no contract, and lots of questions about the middle aisle.

This time round, six suppliers are pitching products for dinner time, including Stormzy’s personal chef.

Molly Novak (Maya Rudolph) is the high-flying wife of a tech billionaire who finds Hailey (Dylan Gelula), her husband’s much-younger assistant, in her walk-in wardrobe. The subsequent divorce leaves her the third richest woman in the world and, according to her employee, “the most famous cheated-on woman on the planet”. She decides to put more hours in at the foundation she didn’t know she founded.

In series two, Molly is continuing to try and live up to her promise of giving all of her $87 billion fortune away for the greater good.

A remake of Patricia Highsmith’s novel The Talented Mr. Ripley casts Andrew Scott (All of Us Strangers) in the titular role made famous by Matt Damon (Good Will Hunting).

Scott’s Ripley travels to 1960s Italy after accepting the task of bringing home a wealthy man’s vagabond son. It is on this trip that Ripley, a pathological liar, begins to spin a web of deceit, dragging playboy Dickie Greenleaf (Johnny Flynn, Emma) into the mix.

England v Sweden – UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 qualifiers

The Lionesses begin their six European qualifiers for the Euros with a bout at Wembley Stadium. Creatively nicknamed Blågult (the Blue-Yellow), the Sweden’s women’s team is captained by AC Milan striker Kosovare Asllani, known to England fans for her stint at Manchester City. Arsenal midfielder Leah Williamson leads the England team, following their victory at the 2022 Euros. Can history repeat itself?

The qualifiers continue all the way until 16 July, when England will play Sweden away. On 31 May, the Lionesses will play at St James’s Park for the first time in history, for a qualifier against France.

The Banshees of Inisherin’s Colin Farrell exec produces and stars in this noir detective drama, playing the titular John Sugar.

Sugar is on the case of a missing nepo baby, granddaughter of a prominent Hollywood producer. Through his investigations, Sugar begins to dig up some long-buried secrets, and make no shortage of enemies.
