The Royal Television Society was formed in 1927, nine years before the first public broadcast from Alexandra Palace – forward thinking if ever there was.

The West of England Centre isn’t quite that old but it is the oldest of all the 13 RTS regional centres. Dating back to 1948 the centre represents many members from all aspects of the TV industry in the west.

The RTS West of England Awards is a key event in our diary and each year the incredible talent and creativity is celebrated.

To find out more about the centre, email RTS Bristol chair Lynn Barlow.
