Thank you to all who joined us for the RTS Republic of Ireland Student Awards 2024!

 

The 2024 student awards showcased an exceptionally high level of talent and promise amongst several participating colleges and institutes.

The judges were blown away by this year's entries and wish to congratulate all nominees and winners.

 

Students from Technological University Dublin, Dundalk Institute of Technology, National Film School IADT and Ballyfermot College of Further Education gathered at the iconic Late Late show stage in RTÉ studios on the 28th of February 2024 to celebrate and showcase their hard work.

Trophies were awarded in Drama, Animation, Entertainment & Comedy Drama and Factual.

We were honoured to welcome several distinguished guests to present the awards: Sinéad Crowley, Director of Media Development at Coimisiún na Meán, Anthony Nilan, Head of Content Strategy at Virgin Media, Alan Esslemont Árd Stiúrthóir TG4 and finally the Director General of RTÉ Kevin Bakhurst. 

Five individual craft awards were awarded by the RTS Republic of Ireland Chair - Agnes Cogan.
