Stars from Barbie, Sex Education and Miranda cast in new BBC comedy Daddy Issues

Aimee Lou Wood (Sex Education) stars as 24-year-old Gemma, recently cast out of her young-wild-and-free lifestyle, after discovering she is pregnant from a one-night stand.

David Morrissey (Sherwood) enters the picture as her father Malcolm. Recently left in the lurch as his now ex-wife jets around the world discovering herself on their life savings, he is unable to do basic household tasks and struggles to boil an egg.

Series one of the RTS Award-winning drama saw two murders tear apart a Nottinghamshire mining village, revealing tensions that had been dormant since 1984. The miners who were on strike and those who crossed the picket line were still at odds four decades later.

First look image revealed for James Graham drama Sherwood

The six-part drama is inspired by real-life events and takes place in the Nottinghamshire mining village where Graham grew up.

An already fractured community is completely torn apart when two tragic and unexpected killings lead to a massive manhunt to find the person responsible. 

Suspicion and antipathy begin to seep into the town, straining relationships between lifelong neighbours and towards the police forces. 

The killings threaten to reignite historic divisions sparked during the miners strike three decades before.

Britannia is a ten-part drama by multi-award-winning script writer Jez Butterworth, which is set to air in 2017. Butterworth has written Black Mass (2015), Edge of Tomorrow, and has also co-written James Bonds' Spectre.

For the first time, Sky has teamed up with Amazon to create the new historical drama.

Set in 43AD, the story sees the Roman army invading Celtic Britannia, a land ruled by warrior women and powerful druids who can channel the powerful forces of the underworld.

Britannia is a big-budget drama set in 43AD as the Roman Imperial Army returns to crush the wild heartlands of Britannia, where the wild Celtic warriors and druids hold sway over the population.

The series stars Kelly Reilly (True Detective), David Morrissey (The Walking Dead), Zoë Wannamaker (Harry Potter) and Stanley Weber (Outlander).
